According to the creators, these weathered oak jumbo logs were found in the mountains of the Northern Arizona forest. In fact, all of the logs that make up this collection were gathered from one tree that was hit by lightning more than 40 years ago. The effects of the lightning strike created bulges, twisting and cracking in the wood which are unique to the Arizona Weathered Oak Collection.
